A Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC or D-to-A) is a device for converting a digital (usually binary) code to an analog signal (current, voltage or electric charge). Most modern audio signals are stored in digital form (for example iPods and CDs) and in order to be heard through speakers they must be converted into an analog signal.
Updated to include a new high-definition 192KHz-capable USB interface the QBD76HD is the latest edition in our hugely successful digital to analogue converter range. With the emphasis for high-quality music now strongly focussed on computer downloads, the QBD76 HD allows you to take full advantage of this 192KHz high-definition data. From June 2012, our flagship DAC can also be purchased with DSD decoding capability. The QBD76HDSD enables users to enjoy high-quality DSD downloads, to get closer to the music than ever before. Existing 'HD' models can also be upgraded to HDSD status. Contact us to arrange a demo in our Vancouver showroom.
